D&D Traffic Management juggles event traffic management for Cirque Du Soleil

D&D GroupNews

Road closures, pedestrian safety and safe traffic flow is a juggling act that D&D Traffic Management has well rehearsed. When the world renowned Cirque Du Soleil arrived in Brisbane to perform Kooza, it’s no surprise that the services of D&D Traffic Management were enlisted to keep patrons safe.

For the duration of Kooza’s season in Brisbane, D&D Traffic Management is responsible for road closures and efficient traffic flow around Skygate at Brisbane Airport. It’s also contracted to manage the drop-off and pick-up zone as well as pedestrian movement in the areas surrounding The Grand Chapiteau.

“Cirque Du Soleil’s Kooza is a fantastic show that attracts many families with children. That means our experienced Traffic Controllers need to be extra vigilant to ensure that all patrons, young and old can safely arrive and leave the magic of Cirque Du Soleil safety. At each performance there is a large volume of patrons arriving and leaving at the same time. Our team of experience Traffic Controllers are focused on ensuring that patrons and traffic can get to where they want to go as efficiently and safely as possible” said Tynan Diaz, Business Manager QLD.

D&D Traffic Management’s experience and successful delivery of so many prominent events in 2016 has established it as the “go to” provider of Event Traffic Management in Queensland.
